CT Eye Shields Model CT-ES

CT Eye Shields, designed for use in head and facial CT scans, mold over the nasal bridge with the eye shield portions laying flat over the patient’s closed eyes allowing for about a 50% dose savings to the eye lens. Shield consists of a single piece thin (1mm) layer of bismuth impregnated synthetic rubber with adhesive back strip to ensure a tight seal with minimal air gaps. Intended as a single use product to prevent against potential biological contamination.
